cooking turkey
When it comes to thanksgiving and Christmas, turkey is a must. Even for ordinary days, turkey is a healthy, tasty meat that everyone should eat.
You see, turkey is full of protein and low in fat. In fact, turkey has more protein than other meats, including beef.
Fat wise, turkey meat has the least fat among all the meats. It has even less fat than chicken, which makes turkey the ideal meat for anyone who wants to lose weight, or to stay fit.
The lack of fat in turkey meat might make turkey less appealing to many people. After all, fat does impart flavour to the food. In fact, red meat that is marbled with fat is so tasty, and of course unhealthy.
Thankfully, you can have the flavour without the fat. My mom cooks a mean turkey. She gave me these 2 roast turkey recipes to share with you.
The first is the Roast Turkey With Fried Rice Stuffing. This is an eastern influenced turkey recipe.
The second recipe is the Roast Turkey With Bread Crumb Stuffing which is a more western style turkey recipe.
